Project Management

The Project Management work package dealt with the administrative and coordinator tasks during the three years project phase of Digital Earth. GEOMAR led this WP and all of the three tasks detailed below. Next to the main task of managing the project, two additional tasks fostered the link to external partners through funded Short Term Scientific Missions (STSMs) and a dynamic adaptation of the project by allocating additional work force to specific scientific questions and/or technical realizations (Bridging Post-Docs). All centres supported all tasks by being actively involved in the Steering Group and the Selection Committees for the Bridging Post-Docs and STSM applications.
